MetroGel® 1% has a higher concentration of metronidazole which is the active ingredient in both products. MetroGel® 1% is also indicated to be used once a day, whereas MetroGel® 0.75% is indicated to be used twice a day. |

How much MetroGel® 1% should I apply to my skin? |

Apply a pea sized amount on to the tip of your fingers and rub into affected area of your skin. |

Should I stop taking MetroGel® 1% once my face starts to clear? |
 |
No, continue using MetroGel® 1% for the full prescribing period or per the instructions by your doctor. Because rosacea is an ongoing condition, you must control it with regular therapy and minor lifestyle adjustments. Treating your rosacea from flare-up to flare-up is not recommended as this will actually make each successive flare-up worse. |

Will MetroGel® 1% dry out my skin? |

No, MetroGel® 1% contains no alcohol which can dry the skin. MetroGel® 1% is water based which helps keep your skin hydrated.
